Co-founded by Brian and Kendra Grace Cook in 1989, the enterprise delves into both mineral and plant realms, supplying innovative lapidary cuts from mined and sourced stones to designers in the industry.
With over 30 years dedicated to Bahia Golden Rutilated quartz, Brian has facilitated the formalization of the artisanal community and cooperatives, consistently emphasizing the connection between culture, community, and the environment in understanding the stone's origin. The ongoing collaboration with the miners' cooperative extends efforts to illuminate the Bahia emerald miners, bringing transparency to the cooperative based in Carnaiba, Bahia, Brazil, and anticipating further opportunities with the richly coloured Bahia emeralds.
