2. Scope
This policy applies to all individuals involved in the Get Stoned Gem Fairs, including but not limited to exhibitors, attendees, staff, volunteers, and contractors. It covers conduct at the event venue and any associated online platforms or communications.
3. Commitment to Safeguarding
We are dedicated to:

4. Code of Conduct
All attendees, exhibitors, and staff must adhere to the following:

Follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the event organisers.

Report any concerns about safeguarding or inappropriate behaviour to the designated Safeguarding Officer.
5. Safeguarding Procedures

A designated Safeguarding Officer will be present at each event to handle concerns.

Any incidents should be reported immediately to the event staff or Safeguarding Officer.

All reports will be taken seriously and addressed in a confidential and appropriate manner.

If necessary, external authorities (such as the police or social services) will be contacted.
6. Protection of Vulnerable Individuals

Any child (under 16) must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

No unauthorised photography of minors or vulnerable individuals is permitted.

Exhibitors and attendees must respect personal boundaries and seek consent before engaging in any interactions that may be considered intrusive.
7. Handling Safeguarding Concerns
If an individual experiences or witnesses a safeguarding issue, they should:

Report the incident to the designated Safeguarding Officer or event staff immediately.

Provide as much detail as possible to assist in an investigation.

Avoid confrontation with the individual(s) involved unless necessary for immediate safety.
